Guns N’ Roses. The year is 1987 and I am listening to “Sweet Child of Mine” on my headphones, stereo, anywhere, repeatedly. I loved the music but also the accompanying synaesthesia. Beautiful flowing lines in varying hues of blue punctuated by streams of vibrant red in three dimensional shapes. Now in 2018 my youngest (guitar playing) boy begs me to paint Slash for Cartoon Symphony! Talk about a timeless inter-generational song.
